Sri Jnaneshwari Sanskrit Vedpathashale, Karki 

The population of Daivajna Brahmins settled for centuries, in the states of Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, and Kerala has increased. In addition, modern temples under their control are increasing in numbers. But there was a scarcity of Daivajna Brahmin priests since the beginning. This was a great problem. On many occasions, Daivajna Brahmins had to depend on priests from other communities for their religious activities. To solve this issue, with the blessings of Swamiji, in 1987, with a noble objective to train priests of Daivajna Brahmins community a school ‘Sri Jnaneshwari
Sanskrit Vedpathashale’ was started.

In this school training on all aspects essential for performing religious activities by a priest like understanding of Sanskrit language, study of Vedas, process of performing all religious activities, all types of pooja of all Goddesses, 16 pooja methods, marriage/thread ceremony procedure, performing yajnas, divine worship and study of astrology, etc., which are part of Indian sanatan culture is given. To give good education and training, faculties with rich experience and knowledge are appointed. Arrangements for accommodation and food are made free of cost. So far hundreds of priests have been trained in this school along with hands-on experience and they have been busy in various parts of the state. They have been successful in gaining the confidence and affection of the
community. At present (2021) 18 students are under training by 3 teachers.

Shri Jnaneshwari English Medium High School, Karki

A school ‘Shri Jnaneshwari Vidyalaya’ is started in the Math premises in the year 2008. Initially, it started with 13 students in LKG and the number has exceeded 325 now. Presently, it has students up to the 10th standard and the school has been converted into English Medium High School. The education with State Syllabus is provided free without any charges. Even transport facility (2 School Buses) is provided to students coming from far-off places. School uniforms and Mid-day meals facilities are provided to the students free of cost. There are 14 well-trained Teachers including a physical education teacher and 2 clerks.

The school is well equipped with a separate 3 storied building with 15 spacious Rooms (including Office, Head Masters room). Smart Board, Science laboratory, Computer lab, and library facilities are provided. Physical education and music classes are imparted to the students.
